Allan O’Bryan is the Executive Director of World Sleep Society, an association dedicated to advancing sleep medicine worldwide. Described as strategic, innovative, analytical, a focused leader, he has been involved with the organization of the World Sleep Congress since 2007. World Sleep congresses average attendance between 1,500-3,000 delegates, with 500+ speakers from 70+ countries. He currently is developing global initiatives including a trainee mentoring program, international guidelines on sleep medicine, and World Sleep Day public awareness campaign. In addition to his work at World Sleep Society, Mr. O’Bryan teaches graduate and undergraduate courses on management, business, and accounting. A graduate Missouri State University with a masters in accounting and was a certified public accountant with 26 years of business consulting and teaching experience.
