Dr. Zhu obtained her PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Nursing. Her research has been focused on the impact of sleep on metabolic health. She received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai “Sailing Program”, Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her research has resulted in over 30 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Zhu has expertise in the use of Ecological Momentary Assessment and is keen to international collaborations and mentoring students.
